Photograph stunning Alaska landscapes with technical and creative support provided by local, professional photographer guides who know where to be and when. This tour is designed to accommodate picture takers, but non-photographer guests are welcome to join in and enjoy the views. Natural history and historical narratives are provided along the way. Departure is based on sunset to capitalize on the best light of the day. The tour begins three hours before sunset and concludes one hour after sunset. A flexible itinerary allows for spontaneous stops to photograph wildlife en route and to highlight seasonal changes.

From the Anchorage Viewpoint, we will photograph evening light on the Anchorage skyline with the Chugach Mountains in the background.

Stop At: Potter Marsh Bird Sanctuary, 154th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99587
An accidental wetland that was created by the construction of the Alaska Railroad, it is now one of the area’s most active migratory bird nesting sanctuaries. Here, we will be viewing and photographing migratory birds and wildlife.

At the Glen Alps area of the park, located high in the Chugach Mountains, you’ll photograph panoramic views overlooking Anchorage and Cook Inlet at sunset.
