Bike and History Tour of Anchorage

This is a combined local Anchorage history and ebike tour. The ebikes ensure a pleasant and relaxing ride covering a large swath of Anchorage city. You will be guided on a tour through Anchorage's history, from pre-colonization through the present era. Along the "way" we'll cover Anchorage's history as a tent city labor camp to the aviation hub to the military buildup in World War II and through the oil-boom of the 1980s.

The bike tour will mostly be along Anchorage's scenic greenbelt trails, including the Coastal Trail. Our route also takes us through the Campbell Creek and Chester Creek bike paths, were moose sightings are common. Belugas and bear have also been sighted.

All in all it's a fabulous way to spend a half-day in Anchorage, getting to know the city's history, enjoying a near-effortless ebike ride, and seeing the surrounding mountains and (with luck) seeing wildlife.
Duration: 3 hours.

eBike Art and Trails Guided Tour of Anchorage

This tour offers the thrill of using an e-bike, the scenery of mountains, forests and ocean, and presentations at works of public art.

You will gain a better understanding of Alaska and of Anchorage through experiencing its art and natural beauty.

The e-bike offers pedal-assist, making the pedaling near effortless. From this tour you will get to see a wide swath of the city...without breaking a sweat.

Our tour offers a unique experience by combining the beauty of both nature and art. You'll get the historical and cultural information of a museum while surrounded by Anchorage's best scenery.
Duration: 3 hours.

Anchorage Greenbelt Bike Tour

Anchorage has one of the best urban trail systems in the United States, with hundreds of miles of paved and multi-use trails connecting our city. Our three main multi-use trails—the Chester Creek Trail, the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, and the Campbell Creek Trail—can be connected to form a 30-mile bike loop, an almost-complete urban greenway that is, when viewed on a map, in the shape of a moose!

You will be off the beaten path, spending the day like a local with a local! This urban greenbelt has ample opportunities to spot wildlife like moose, black bears, bald eagles, and occasionally even a beluga whale! If you love to bike, there is no better way to experience Anchorage than by joining us to bike the "Moose Loop" (the route makes the outline of a moose head on a map).
