Itinerary

Find out why Asheville locals LOVE hiking in the winter! Join us on tourist-free trails as we take in lovely winter calm and warm up with a hot beverage made right in the remote wilderness.
Start the morning with the fresh aroma at Asheville’s Ultra Coffee, where we will meet before your tour. The drive to the firest is about 45 minutes spent getting to know your guide as they introduce you to the area.
We spend the rest of the tour exploring the best of Pisgah, visiting multi-tiered waterfalls, hidden pools, rock overhangs, and more!

Your guide will lead hikes on integrated trails for a distance of around 2.5 to 3 miles, walking at a leisurely pace and discussing the unique properties of trees and wildflowers along the way!
Inexperienced hikers are welcome as your guide will help you navigate the trails and give you tips for your future adventures over the roots, rocks, and mud that give our Southern Appalachian rainforest its character.
