Full-Day Small Group Desert Offroad 4×4 Truck Tours in San Diego

Come explore off the beaten path with us in the desert east of San Diego! Go where most people can’t go in our lifted, 4×4 trucks. We will show you desert wildflowers, mud caves, petroglyphs, steep canyons, and more, with few crowds, as we skillfully drive you down difficult offroad trails! We can take you hiking in slot canyons or to tranquil oases with palm trees! We customize the tour for what you want to see. This is a great tour for travelers to San Diego who are not renting a car, but want to see the desert, or San Diego residents who don’t have a 4×4 truck or jeep. We will cook you a fresh lunch on the side of the trail. There is an optional hot spring excursion as well. This is a family friendly excursion, and hotel pickup in the San Diego area is included. This tour is offered fall-spring, but closed in the summer due to high desert temperatures.

Our guide will take you offroad in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in our lifted, 4×4 trucks. They will show you wildflowers, mud caves, canyons, petroglyphs, and more, with few crowds because these features are down sandy or rocky trails and difficult to access. They will also cook you a fresh lunch on the side of the trail.

This is an optional hot springs excursion in Anza Borrego Desert State Park. There are multiple pools with hot and normal temperatures.
