We will meet at the benches in front of the Charleston City Gallery. It is a nice quiet spot, just one block away from the hustle and bustle of East Bay Street. There are public restrooms nearby, and a public parking garage just across the street. Tours leave on time, so don’t be late!

Stop At: Joe Riley Waterfront Park, Concord Street, Charleston, SC 29401-2129

What better way to start the tour than to take a stroll along Charleston’s beautiful waterfront! We will explore the park, and talk about the early history of the colony.

Stop At: Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, 122 E Bay St, Charleston, SC 29401-2103

The Old Exchange is one of the most historic buildings in America. We will explore the exterior and talk about it’s significant role in the nation’s past. We will not be going inside, so no worries about paying to take the tour of the Exchange.

The very famous, and always photogenic, Rainbow Row. These are private homes today, so we will not be going inside, but feel free to take as many pictures as you would like.

Stop At: Battery & White Point Gardens, East Battery & Murray Blvd., Charleston, SC 29401

Pirates, cannons, antebellum mansions, and some of the best views in Charleston! The Battery is one of Charleston’s most beautiful areas. We will explore the park, take a look at Fort Sumter, and talk about the many different monuments and mansions that you will find in and around White Point Gardens.

Stop At: Chalmers Street, Chalmers St, Charleston, SC 29401, USA

A walk down Charleston’s longest cobblestone street. Watch your step as we walk into what was once one of America’s only walled cities, and explore the area known today as the French Quarter.
