Cincinnati Trip Overview
Cincinnati brews great beer and this tradition goes back more than two centuries! Take a walk along the Brewing Heritage Trail to learn about the Brewery District’s past and present, as we explore a neighborhood full of historic and current breweries, while discovering more about the local craftspeople who supported the brewing industry. We’ll share stories of how beer making and drinking was and continues to be an integral part of Cincinnati’s identity at historic places like the Schoenling Brewery, now run by Samuel Adams, and the Christian Moerlein Barreling and Bottling Facilities, now part of the modern Rhinegeist Brewery. To celebrate our modern day breweries, we’ll sample some locally produced lagers and ales as we stop in at different locations along the way. Included in the tour are two beer tastings (32 oz of beer).
