Itinerary

Stop At: Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias, Yosemite National Park, Yosemite National Park, CA
Our first stop will be a 2.5 mile (4 kilometer) round-trip hike to the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. The hike is on a paved path, where you will walk down for about a mile while losing 400ft of elevation. Once in the grove, you will see about a dozen mature Giant Sequoias including the iconic Tunnel Tree carved out in 1878.

Stop At: Olmsted Point, Tioga Road, Yosemite National Park, CA 95389
As we drive along Tioga Road take in the beautiful scenery of Yosemite’s high country before stopping at Olmsted Point. Enjoy a boxed lunch while marveling the stunning views of Clouds Rest and Half Dome.

Stop At: Pothole Dome, Yosemite National Park, CA
Continue cruising along Tioga Road to Tuolumne Meadows and meander along the 2.5 mile round-trip (4 kilometer) path to the top of Pothole Dome. Take in the spectacular panoramic views of Yosemite’s tallest peaks.

Stop At: Tenaya Lake, Yosemite National Park, CA
Cool off in the sparkling water of Tenaya Lake and try to spot a few climbers on the granite walls before heading back down to El Portal.
