What to Expect When Visiting Estes Park, Colorado, United States
This snowshoeing adventure is for women, 16 years of age or older. We provide ladies with an outdoor space of our own to adventure together. Snowshoes and trekking poles are included.
Itinerary
Ladies, we’ll snowshoe (or hike) in Rocky Mountain National Park to Mills Lake which is a sub-alpine lake with stunning views of mountain peaks soaring over 12,000 ft. We’ll start at a popular sub-alpine lake before beginning our 3.5 mile journey through an enchanted forest, stopping to view Alberta Falls, and on to Mills lake where we’ll enjoy hot drinks, snacks, and incredible scenery that you cannot drive to. The adventure is a moderate 7 miles roundtrip with roughly 1,000 ft of elevation gain.
This adventure is moderate and requires the ladies to be in moderately good physical condition.
