We offer small group guided guided kayak trips in the fjord around Haines, Alaska. Our guides are all ACA (American Canoe Association) certified instructors and undergo rigorous in house safety training along with Wilderness First Responder training and certification. In addition our guides have degrees in Zoology, Biology and Natural history and live in the community of Haines. This gives our guides the unique ability to share with you not only the natural beauty of the area but the unique lifestyle we live here in this little fishing town of Haines, at the northern most point of the inside passage.

Itinerary
Hanging glaciers and towering mountains are the back drop for this Haines, Alaska based adventure. We will spend our day exploring the waters and coastline surrounding Haines by sea kayak. This Fjord is one of the deepest in South East Alaska and is home to a huge number of marine mammals including Humpback and Killer whales, Stellar Sealion, seals, and porpoise. We will also have ample oppurtunity to get out of the kayaks to explore the shoreline. Along streches of beaches and through coastal rainforest, we can hike, when not in our kayaks, hopefully catching a glimpse of a resident Bald Eagle, or Brown Bear. No matter what we encounter your professional kayak guide will provide a safe and informative trip making this one of the high lights of your visit to the northern most inlet of the famed inside passage. Please note this excursion is weather dependent and if conditions exceed our safety protocols we will change locations to Chilkoot Lake, a pristine mountain lake, to spend our day of sea kayaking
