The park is named for Jacksonville’s native son, James Weldon Johnson who wrote the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” just blocks away from the park. The park is surrounded by things to explore including Chambline’s Bookstore, Sweet Pete’s Candy Factory, The Museum of Modern Art (MOCA) and the downtown library.
The Arts Market happens every Saturday and is located along the North Bank Riverwalk. This is an amazing path to ride along the river!
The e bike adventure begins an ends at Tucker Cycles in the Shoppes of Avondale, a historic shopping district with local shops and restaurants. This is the most quaint corner of Jacksonville!
