Stop At: Ho’okipa Beach Park, Hana Highway, Paia, Maui, HI 96779
This hot spot should definitely be on your “must see” list! This beach is all about action and daring stunts on surfboards! Definitely worth stopping on your way to Hana! Lots of turtles too.

Stop At: Kaumahina State Wayside Park, Hana Hwy, Haiku, Maui, HI
This state park is one of the first big stops on the Road to Hana. If you are in an adventurous mood, feel free to attempt their “hiking” trail. As we quickly found out, the trail isn’t well-maintained or easily accessible.

Stop At: Ke‘anae Point, Maui, HI
The Ke’anae Peninsula is a dramatic half-mile long massive finger of newer lava sticking out from the cliff line of the Hana Highway. Well before coming to the turnout, you will have ogled at the scenic peninsula from the many lookouts along the road.
