Some things in life you just can’t rush through, like these magnificent Nevada parks! And if you’re considering a visit with a guide, find one that’s going to spend time with you rather than sending you off alone with a quick return time to the bus. Well-informed, very personal and leisurely tours. That’s what we do best!
The morning begins with hotel pickup in Las Vegas around 7:00am for our journey to the Valley of Fire State Park. Once there, we’ll begin to take in the stunning beauty of the geologic formations, stopping at designated points along the way to capture breathtaking photos for your album and social media pages! Ask as many questions as you like. Your guide is a veritable wellspring of information concerning the area’s geology, indigenous inhabitants and subsequent recorded history. We bet he’ll even offer to snap some special photos for you. 🙂

Stop At: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, 10 Lakeshore Rd, NV 89005
After leaving the Valley of Fire, we’ll make our return to Las Vegas by way of the scenic north shore of Lake Mead. As we pony through the mineral-splashed volcanic landscape of Mount Cleopatra, we’ll make stops of special interest throughout the Pinto Valley…to the Bowl of Fire, Rainbow Gardens and beyond! Your guide can even put on some classic Ennio Morricone if you’d like, as you daydream of your favorite spaghetti western. Your surroundings will make you feel like you’re on the set!

Stop At: Hemenway Park, 401 Ville Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005
If you’ve chosen the wildlife viewing option, it’s off for some incredible views of Lake Mead and eventually to Boulder City and a very unique municipal park…one at which the wild desert bighorn sheep come down from the mountains and graze amongst the general public. It’s quite a remarkable experience being at arm’s length of the local wildlife. The complete photo expedition is certain to provide those Instagram-worthy social media opportunities in a flash without having to dedicate days to do it! Door to door time is approximately 9 hours (6 hours for the Valley of Fire only option).
