Griffith Observatory is located high upon the 3,000 acre Griffith Park and offers outstanding city views and a great view of the Hollywood sign. The Observatory interior is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, but visitors can still enjoy the art deco facade, the monument to James Dean, and the collection of astronomer statues.
