Southern California Institute of Architecture is an independent, non-commercial school of architecture. Founded in 1972, SCI-Arc initially was considered as more avant-garde in both institutional and artistic way, than traditional architecture schools of the United States. The institute is located on the territory of a former Santa Fe Freight Depot. You can visit different public events, which the institute organizes, including information programs, free exhibitions, and lectures. Be amazed by the non-trivial architectural decisions the school welcomes.
