This is a gorgeous and extremely comfortable adventure in our highly specialized Overland Jeep Rubicons. We will travel through the stunning George Washington National Forest, by way of fire service roads to Catherine Furnace, which has been in the National Register of Historic Places since 1974. Over the hills and through the woods to Catherine Furnace we go!
Terra Overland will take you deep into the Massanutten peninsula of the George Washington National forest to visit a historic Civil War Furnace from the 1800’s. The history of the furnace is full of local legends, betrayal, conspiracy, blunders and wonders.
