This location is ONLY accessible in a high clearance 4×4 vehicle, is a necessity; the road is steep and rough year-round. This adventure is not for the faint of heart. This is off-roading! It’s a truly unique and challenging and thrilling adventure to the summit and upon arrival it does not disappoint!
The summits surround you with views of the entire valley. You can clearly see Shenandoah National Park, Massanutten and West Virginia. This moderate rated trail and our skilled tour guide will teach you along the way. The summit is at the top of the Appalachian Mountains following the border between Virginia and West Virginia. This high elevation access route also brings the wildlife watcher into habitats not encountered by car or foot traffic.
