Merlin Trip Overview
The morning half-day trip on the Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon is our most scenic half-day trip. The forbidding walls of Hellgate Canyon rise out of the water at the rivers edge marking a dramatic point of transition into the whitewater downstream. As we float through the canyon osprey and eagles fly over head as the search the river for fish. The morning trip flows through two distinct gorges and concludes with two of the best class II rapids on the day section of the Rogue River so if you want to get out on the river before the heat really sets in join us for our scenic morning trip.

Itinerary
During our morning on the river we will float through the beautiful Hellgate Canyon before entering our first of many class II rapids. Hellgate canyon is the place where the Rogue River enters the coastal range of mountains and is an incredible site to take in.
