This walking tour starts where Miami began more than 8000 year ago (yes, Miami does have history!) on the shores of the Miami River. Now surrounded by towering luxury residential structures, hotels, world class restaurants and global businesses, Miami’s first inhabitants, The Tequesta Indian tribe, hunted and gathered in what is now the epicenter of a bustling world-class city.

This landmark Miami skyscraper was the first to feature dramatic colored lights on its tiered glass exterior, a move that started the trend of lighting public bridges and private buildings all over the city. Your guide will take you to explore the hidden garden and park found within the skydeck of this iconic modern tower.

Downtown Miami Historic District. We will experience Miami’s history as we stroll through this US designated historic district where the city’s commercial and residential areas first started taking shape during the Florida Land Boom of the 1920’s. We will take in a variety of buildings and architectural styles including Masonry Vernacular, Mediterranean Revival, Art Moderne, and Neoclassical Revival. Of the 60 historic buildings in this district listed on the National Register of Historic Places, you will get exclusive access to many including the Ingraham Building, Alfred I Dupont Building, Seybold Building, Gesu Church and more. **Please note stops on the tour may vary.**

Considered a futuristic symbol of modern finance, The Miami Bull is a popular spot for photos due to its dramatic look and feel. The sculpture merges traditional and digital sculpting, handcrafted fabrication, and 3D printing to create a ‘Transformers’ type look and feel.

Considered to be the oldest building in Miami still standing on its original site, the historic Mediterranean Revival style Gesu Church is also the city’s oldest Roman Catholic parish. On the National Register and restored to its original appearance, the church’s architectural elements are magnificent.

Built in the early 1920’s as a silent movie theater and vaudeville house, this Mediterranean Revival style building is a showstopper of theater design. Hear the stories of this once famous showplace that saw the likes of Elvis, Pavarotti, Desi Arnez and Ella Fitzgerald among others.

International Jewelry District: The second largest jewelry district in the US features more than 500 jewelry stores in a 4 block area. We will visit the famous Seybold Building where legendary rockers and hip-hop stars mingle with customers from all over the world to purchase customized jewelry and watches.

Miami World Center: You will experience modern Miami at its most futuristic within this $4 billion urban development project on more than 20 acres of downtown Miami.
