We’ll walk our bikes right across the street to a small, unnamed park on Biscayne Bay, where your guide will present an introduction to the history of the area, the bay and the people from the natives to the pioneering founders.

We’ll stop at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, named in honor of former Bee Gee, Maurice Gibb who lived much of his life in Miami Beach. We’ll get another great bay view, learn about the nearby Venetian Causeway, the former Collins Bridge, and talk a bit about the Bee Gees and other great artists who recorded music in Miami.

Next, we’ll head eastward, pedal through some of South Beach’s residential neighborhoods and make a stop in front of the Holocaust Memorial, discussing how Jewish people helped shape the area.

We’ll continue east to The Fillmore, the former site of the Jackie Gleason Theater. We’ll discuss comedian and Honeymooner’s star Jackie Gleason’s life in Miami Beach, including his run on The Jackie Gleason Show filmed here.

Enjoy a delicious Argentinian-style empanada.

We’ll head east towards the beach and take a relaxing, northerly ride up the beachwalk into Mid Beach, catching glimpses of the beach, the ocean and our unique, colorful lifeguards stands.

We’ll ride through charming Collins Park passing by the Bass Museum, some cool, outdoor art and enormous Baobab trees.

We’ll check out a mysterious orb in an alleyway off Ocean Drive lodged between two buildings designed by two of our chief architects, L. Murray Dixon and Henry Hohauser. We’ll discuss Art Deco architecture, and some of the important upcoming properties, as we continue down iconic Ocean Drive.

We’ll pedal by the historic Cardozo Hotel, the former Versace Mansion, the Clevelander and other iconic Ocean Drive properties in the world’s foremost Art Deco district in South Beach.

Our expert guides will introduce you to several important landmarks and inform you about their history.

Food stops can vary, but we’ll stop at either Naked Taco, La Sandwicherie, Havana 1957 and/or Estefan Kitchen Express. You can’t go wrong with any of them. We’ll stop at 2 of 4 great restaurants in the Ocean Drive entertainment district.

We’ll head out onto South Pointe Pier to get a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, Fisher Island and more. We’ll discuss Miami’s role in World War II, Carl Fisher and PortMiami – the world’s busiest cruise port.

We’ll exercise your sweet tooth with South Florida’s favorite dessert Key Lime Pie at local standby, Monty’s Sunset, right on the Miami Beach Marina.
