We will learn about the history and development of the southernmost park in Manhattan. Additionally, we will view the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the park and learn how these iconic symbols embody the spirit of America for immigrants old and new.

We will learn about the colonial past of New York City’s oldest park.

We will explore the history of the famous Federal Hall, the inauguration place of the first United States president.

We will explore the architecture and history of the famous New York Stock Exchange and learn how this building is an integral component of the United States financial industry.

We will learn about the impressive architecture of Trinity Church, as well as the building’s history. Additionally we will visit the graveyard and see famous New Yorker’s graves like Alexander Hamilton, the guy on the 10 USD bill.

We will visit the solemn site of the National 9/11 Memorial. We will learn about the tragic event that occurred in 2001, how it affected NYC and the world, and learn about how the Memorial was created.
