Itinerary
You will be greeted by your instructor and host, Laura Parke, RN.
You will be outfitted in gear with high-end mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit. We review with everyone a comprehensive Snorkeling Safety Briefing on proper fitting and use. We first practice on dry land proper seating of mask and fins, putting on fins and wetsuit.
Then when everyone is outfitted and instructed on dry land, we then walk to the shoreline and walk into waist deep water. We practice again the instructions given on dry land in the water in step by step fashion. Laura is with you the entire time of the snorkeling tour.
Once you gain confidence in the equipment and your technique we take you on tour of the Snorkeling Trail in the Lake Worth Lagoon. There you will interact with thousands of fish, observe marine life like yellow rays, turtles, manatees in winter.
You get professional pictures with you and the fish, and other marine life creature that will swim by. The Lake Worth Lagoon has many parrot fish, starfish, octopus and sea horses.
Tour comes with snacks and spring water at the end. A Souvenir Fish ID Card and Dive Site map is your to take home.
