Most people will tell you that the Burying Point Cemetery is the most haunted cemetery in Salem – and it would be hard for us to to disagree.
The Burying Point Cemetery is a popular stop on guided ghost tours in Salem. You’ll hear about the history of the cemetery, its connections to the Witch Trials, and the stories of the ghosts which are said to haunt it.

After many years of debate, historians now (mostly) agree that Proctor’s Ledge was the site of the hangings of the Salem Witch Trials. Now, the hauntings here start to make sense.
