Itinerary

Day 1: Dinosaur Museum, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point

Stop At: Utah State University Eastern Prehistoric Museum, 155 E Main St, Price, UT 84501-3033
At the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum, you can discover what life was like thousands to millions of years ago in Southern Utah. This museum contains over 700,000 archaeological artifacts, ranging from complete sets of dinosaur bones to pictographs left by the Fremont people more than 2,000 years ago. No matter your interests, you are bound to find something you enjoy.

Stop At: Dead Horse Point State Park, Sr 313, Moab, UT 84532
After exploring the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum, we will eat a quick lunch and depart for Dead Horse Point State Park. Located only a few miles from Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park offers a unique view of the Colorado River 2,000 feet below. While driving around, your tour guide will tell you the interesting story of how this park got its name.

Stop At: Canyonlands National Park, Utah 84532, USA
Next, we will drive over to the adjacent Canyonlands National Park. This park is made up of three distinct regions: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, and the Maze. We will be touring the Island in the Sky region which is situated far above the Colorado River, on top of the Colorado Plateau. From this vantage point, we will see deep into the virtually untouched canyons below, giving us a glimpse into the ancient past.

Stop At: Moab, Moab, Utah
Following Canyonlands National Park, we’ll travel to Moab, Utah to eat dinner and explore the town. Located between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, Moab is seen as the gateway to many of Utah’s greatest natural landscapes. You’ll love your stay here just as much as the parks themselves!

Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in Moab, letting you relax before the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Arches, Adventure in Moab

Stop At: Arches National Park, Utah, USA
In the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Arches National Park. With more than 2,000 arches, Arches National Park has the densest concentration of natural sandstone arches in the world! With only a short hike, many world famous arches can be seen in all their glory, including landscape arch, delicate arch, and double arch. This is one national park you do not want to miss!

Stop At: Moab, Moab, Utah
Afterwards, we’ll return back to Moab, Utah for an adventure of your choice. These adventures could include river rafting, horseback riding, additional hiking, a riverboat tour, an off-road 4×4 tour, or more! These adventures will take us all the way until dinner time, which we’ll eat in town.

Stop At: Potash Road, Long Canyon Road, Moab, UT
The last destination we’ll visit on this day is Potash road. Found right outside of Moab, Potash road winds along the Colorado river with water on one side, and a huge rock cliff on the other. This road, although beautiful, is not the main attraction. Along this road, your tour guide will show you ancient petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks, as well as additional arches that can be accessed by foot.

Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in Moab, letting you relax before the next day’s adventure.

Day 3: Green River- Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, Trorry

Stop At: Goblin Valley State Park, Hwy 24 Apx 12 Miles West of Hwy 24, Green River, UT 84525
In the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Goblin Valley State Park. The “goblins” in Goblin Valley get their name from the thousands of unique hoodoos, or columns of weathered stone, that dot its surface. In this State Park, there are no official paths, allowing you to walk up close to the hoodoos and take pictures. If time permits, your tour guide will take you on a hike to Goblins Lair, an incredibly tall cave.

Pass By: San Rafael Swell, Emery County, UT 84522, Castle Dale, UT
Following Goblin Valley State Park, we’ll depart for Capitol Reef National Park, passing along the San Rafael Swell.

Stop At: Capitol Reef National Park, UT 84775
Following Goblin Valley State Park, we’ll depart for Capitol Reef National Park, passing along the San Rafael Swell. Capitol Reef National Park has a rich history and a unique geology. Over 1,000 years ago, the Fremont people lived in this region, making pictographs on the cliffs that can still be seen today. We’ll also explore the remnants of Fruita, a small town established in the 1880s.

Pass By: Highway 12 Scenic Byway, Torrey, UT
Finally, we’ll travel along the beautiful Highway 12 until we reach the town of Bryce.

Stop At: Torrey, Torrey, Utah
Along the way, if time permits, we’ll explore Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Upon arriving in Bryce, we’ll eat dinner at one of the local restaurants and then drop you off at your hotel, letting you relax before the next day’s adventure.

Day 4: Bryce Canyon, Flightseeing Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Kanab

Stop At: Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
In the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Bryce Canyon National Park. From its beautiful pink and white cliffs to its thousands of hoodoos, Bryce Canyon National Park is sure to leave a powerful impression with you. This park features many incredible viewpoints that are easily accessible and provide excellent locations to take photographs. For the more adventurous, your tour guide will take you down into the canyon along the Navajo-Queen’s Garden Trail, passing right next to incredible rock formations that have taken thousands of years to shape.

Stop At: Kanab, Kanab, Utah
Following Bryce Canyon National Park, we’ll drive south along highway 89 towards Kanab, Utah. This region, located in the Southwest corner of Utah, has both a beautiful landscape and a rich history. Due to its spectacular red sandstone cliffs and unique plants, Kanab has been used as the set of many famous Hollywood shows and movies, including the Lone Ranger, Planet of the Apes, and Arabian Nights. While in Kanab, you will see the Pink Coral Sand Dunes, the impressive Moqui Sand Caves, and if time permits, the magnificent Toadstools and Horseshoe Bend.

Stop At: Horseshoe Bend, Mile Marker 545, Highway 89, Page, AZ 86040
You’ll be taken to Page, Arizona for a quick bite to eat at a local eatery. While in Southern Utah, there’s no better way to experience the American Southwest than from the air! you’ll have the opportunity to check out an amazing flight seeing adventure that features fantastic bird’s-eye views of some of the country’s most striking scenery! See destinations such as Lake Powell, Rainbow Bridge, Horseshoe Bend, and Reflection Canyon from the sky! This one-hour trip in a Cessna airplane is included with the trip and is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

For dinner, we’ll be eating in one of the many restaurants in Kanab. After dinner, your tour guide will drop you off at your hotel, letting you relax before the next day’s adventure.

Day 5: Zion, Salt Lake City

Stop At: 1 Zion Park Blvd, Zion National Park, UT 84767-9402
In the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Zion National Park. Zions offers wind-sculpted canyons and hikes along incredible trails. This park has something for everyone: if you want to remain in the car, you will love the intricate patterns found on Checkerboard Mesa and Weeping Rock. If you want to do a little hiking, you will enjoy the stunning views from the Canyon Overlook Trail and the Riverside Walk. If you are an experienced hiker, you will appreciate the thrill of hiking along the Narrows and Angel’s Landing.

Stop At: Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City, Utah
Next, we’ll depart from Zion and drive to Salt Lake City. Settled in 1847 by a group of pioneering Mormons, Salt Lake City has blossomed into the vibrant capital of Utah and gateway to the west. If time permits, your tour guide will take you to see the twin hearts of this city: Temple Square and the Capitol Building.

Depending on when your plane departs, we can either drop you off at the airport or at a hotel of your choice.
