San Francisco Trip Overview
Enjoy two same day San Francisco experiences — a round trip express excursion to the Golden Gate Bridge (SF side) by deluxe van from Fisherman’s Wharf with a visit inside the Alcatraz cellhouse. Guests will be assigned a same day Alcatraz ferry that coincides with this small group tour.
Tour departs Fisherman’s Wharf to experience 45 minutes at the Golden Gate Bridge (SF side). Guests will have ample time to walk the bridge and take photos. There is also an option to upgrade in advance to visit the other side of the bridge by van in addition to your San Francisco side stop.
Guests will be dropped off directly at Pier 33 Alcatraz with time to spare!
This is a laid back family style road trip with light narration. No frills! Just thrills! Our basic non narrated tour is designed for those in a hurry! Enjoy the bridge without the hassle of bikes or double decker crowded buses.

Stop At: Alcatraz Island, Pier 33, San Francisco, CA 94123
Step back in time and experience the legendary island that has been a civil war fort, a military prison and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US history.
This memorable tour includes: 45 minute audio presentation “Doing Time: The Alcatraz Cellhouse Tour,” featuring actual correctional officers and prisoners who lived and worked on the Island; orientation video by Discovery Channel; ranger and docent tours; historic gardens and abundant wildlife.

Round trip transportation from Fisherman’s Wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge (one half hour each way) with a 30 minute stop over for pictures on the other side at Vista Point. Return to Fisherman’s Wharf. Total van event is estimated 90 minutes* (allow for traffic/accidents/delays)
