The tour you are embarking on this afternoon supports and provides exposure for three local nonprofits; the Tenderloin Museum; GLIDE Memorial Church, and La Cocina, which supports female and minority food entrepreneurs.

We will meet at the non-profit Tenderloin Museum at 2pm where you’ll discover the rich cultural, architectural and political history of the neighborhood.

Stop At: Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, 330 Ellis St West of Union Square, San Francisco, CA 94102-2735

After your visit and with this context in mind, enjoy a narrated walking tour of the neighborhood. One of the most important stops on your tour will be at the GLIDE Memorial Church, which is dedicated to social justice and serves over 750,000 meals and administers over 3,600 HIV tests each year.
