The old Del Monte Cannery, a historic landmark in the area! Used to be a processing cannery for Del Monte, which is now an upscale shopping mall with gift shops, art galleries, restaurants & entertainment.

We will walk along the Wharf, and see some of the amazing street vendors, souvenir shops, on the northern waterfront, one of the city’s busiest tourist areas. Souvenir shops and stalls selling crab and clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls appear at every turn, as do postcard views of the bay, Golden Gate and Alcatraz. There’s also a colony of sea lions to see and historic ships to tour.
