San Francisco Historic Literary Walking Tour

San Francisco Trip Overview

Our tour is the only comprehensive literary tour in San Francisco. We talk and experience the Beat generation as well as travel back in time to the Gold Rush and Barbary Coast days when writers like Mark Twain, Bret Harte, Jack London, and Ambrose Bierce called San Francisco home. Also, we talk about the unique opportunities women and writers of color have had in this open city including Maya Angelou, Amy Tan, and Bob Kaufman.

As a writer and reporter myself, I am deeply involved with the literary and artistic community in San Francisco. I love this city! I know where the bodies are buried and how they got there. Be prepared to experience the intimate and real San Francisco writer’s scene.
