Begin in Santa Fe Plaza and orient yourself with the city’s layout, including seeing the Palace of Governors, which is one of the country’s oldest continually operational municipal buildings. Learn some of the history and present realities of several Native American nations, whose lands are spread throughout much of New Mexico.

Visit the De Vargas Street House – the oldest house in Santa Fe, built in the traditional adobe style, which is now a free two-room museum.
