Enjoy a social, fun day in Santa Ynez wine country in this join-in wine tour. You will make new friends and taste world-class wines from Santa Barbara.
You will be pick up at your hotel in Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez, or Los Olivos and along with other travelers visit 4 small family owned boutique wineries. The groups will be no more than 8 people in order to keep them intimate. You will meet passionate winemakers, hear their stories, and see the beautiful sights of Santa Barbara wine country. You will also enjoy a tasty picnic lunch at one of the beautiful wineries overlooking vineyards. At the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel for a well deserved nap from a fun-filled day.
Depending on the tour, you maybe tasting wines where Miles and Jack from the movie Sideways went tasting.

The central coast of California is one of the most diverse grape growing regions on the West Coast. Cool coastal breezes and hot inland temperatures combine over rugged hills and mountain to create dozens of microclimates suitable for a broad range of wine varietals such as delicate, thin-skinned Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to more tannic, full-bodied Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Your guide will begin with a pick-up at your hotel in Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos or Buellton. After meeting your guide and fellow visitors for the afternoon, you will make your way to the beautiful wineries to begin your day among scenic vineyards and world-class wines. Learn how wine is made in a cellar in a private setting, where staff at a local winery will teach you about the art of growing grapes and the science behind fermentation. Enjoy a gorgeous picnic lunch overlooking vineyards while relaxing in the wonderful southern California weather. Throughout the day you will visit four different wineries, each with their own style of wine to share and unique story to tell. When you are done, your driver will drive you back to your hotel where you will depart, sleepy and satisfied, to make your way to dinner or off on another adventure of your own choosing.
