This experience is an introduction to French culture with learning technics of making and sharing a lunch bistro style with a group of travelers. The workshop includes the baguettes making, butter making, sabering and finally sharing many memories. The experience is hands on, busy and ultra fun!
The experience is about awakening your 5 senses. You will learn the few steps to make, shape and bake baguettes, make butter, and finally eat your masterpiece during a wonderful lunch together!
We will start with coffee and French crêpes: This light breakfast will be a great introduction to French culture and a perfect time for all of us to get to know each other before starting the workshops.
We will start with making the dough and shape it into baguettes. Then we will make butter and learn sabrage over the lake in my backyard. That’s the art of opening a bottle of Champagne with a saber.
We will learn to score, steam and bake the baguettes and we will finally eat our creations in a wonderful sit down bistro lunch. Following the new Covid-19 guidances, I will serve each of you keeping in mind that safety and cleanness in my house is a priority. We will have choices of cured meats and cheeses and devour our homemade baguettes with our own homemade organic butter.
You also will be able to bring complimentary Baguette/s as well as great memories to your family!
