Formed in the heart of Manhattan, AJR is an American pop band composed of multi-instrumentalist brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met.
The acronym AJR is formed from the brothers first initials in each of their names; Adam, Jack, and Ryan. Their style is a fusion of pop, be-bop, electronic, and dubstep formed together to create an amazing sound that excites fans at each of their shows!
In 2020, their third album Neotheater debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200,[2] and hit number 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
On February 12th the band released their new hit single titled “Bang!” with a subsequent music video following the streaming release.
With a new album being teased, you won’t want to miss a show where the three brothers perform hit singles of the past as well as new unheard gems!
The three brothers were born and raised in Chelsea, New York. They began street performing at Washington Square Park when Jack was only 8 years old in 2005. Because of street performing, they were able to buy musical equipment and release their first album. They self-produce their music from their living room, titling their first album Living Room. The brothers are also ambassadors for Barack Obama‘s It’s On Us campaign, launched in 2014 with the aim of eliminating sexual assault in college campuses across the country.
While AJR may appeal to a younger demographic, their shows are fun and friendly to folks of all ages!
