During the ’90s and 2000s, Brandy was undoubtedly one of the biggest names in showbiz. Following apperances in Moesha, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and a Walt Disney television production of Cinderella, she released a string of hit albums which yielded such chart-topping singles as “I Wanna Be Down,” “Baby,” and the wildly successful duet“ The Boy is Mine” with fellow R&B-pop star Monica. Brandy has also served as artistic inspiration for a host of other notable singers such as Jessie J., Erykah Badu, Kelly Rowland and Rihanna, among others.
