Escape the Fate formed in Pahrump, Nevada. A demo and a radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance led to a support slot with Alkaline Trio and a record deal with Epitaph. Their debut album “Dying is Your Latest Fashion” made its way into the top 20 of Billboard’s Heatseaker and Top Independent Albums charts. With the departure of lead singer Ronnie Radk, Craig Mabbit would preside over the many comings and goings of bassist Max Green and the struggles to find a record company that would appreciate their vision. Their 2010 self-titled album caught the band at their most stable and diverse, and 2014 will bring a tour with Ronnie Radke’s band, Falling in Reverse. “Ungrateful,” tighter and less diverse than their self-titled major label debut, features a collaboration with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and a video that tackles the issue of bullying and violence.
