Born in Ghana, Africa, Michael Blackson was brought up on Eddie Murphy’s comedic style, developing his own stand-up skits at a young age. After moving to Pennsylvania in the early ’90s and testing out his jokes at local clubs, Blackson began competing in comedy contests, where his performances attracted attention from none other than Ice Cube. It wasn’t long after they met that he appeared in Cube’s hit film Next Friday, and his career took off from there.  Since then, he’s had several more acting roles as well as stints on BET’s ComicView and Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam, proving he’s an all-around entertainer at heart with his impressive acting chops and outrageous skits. Showcasing his many talents on tour, Blackson will have fans doubled-over in laughter on his hilarious upcoming dates.
