    Superheaven on Tour

Known as formidable grunge revivalists for the 21st century, Superheaven formed in 2007 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, playing music heavily influenced by ’90s grunge bands including Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots.

Originally known as Daylight, the band changed their name to Superheaven after a dispute with a Spanish band of the same name. Under their new name, Superheaven put out their debut full-length album, Jar, in 2014 and reissued it in 2023 to celebrate the album’s 10-year anniversary.

Co-frontmen and guitarists Taylor Madison and Jake Clarke don’t typically write songs about romance or the lighter side of life, choosing instead to get very personal in their lyrics, writing about family tragedies, financial struggles and many of life’s hardships.

    Superheaven Live in Concert

Beginning life as an emo band known as Daylight in the suburbs of Bucks County in Eastern Pennsylvania in the late 2000s, Superheaven released several EPs before releasing their debut album, Jar, in 2013. Their sound was heavily influenced by popular ’90s bands such as Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, mixed with elements of shoegaze and metal.

After signing to Los Angeles-based indie label Side One Dummy, Superheaven released their sophomore full-length album, Ours Is Chrome, in 2015, which New Noise Magazine called “some of the best alt/grunge since the genre’s heyday.”
